2015 Greek Awards Winners
The Greek Awards Program is an amazing opportunity to celebrate the impact of our chapters here at the University of Kentucky! This year, awards were given in four categories Outstanding Membership Development, Outstanding Member Wellness, Outstanding Academic Excellence, and Outstanding Chapter Growth. The most prestigious awards are the Greek Man and Woman of the Year and the Dean's Cups for each council. In addition to these category awards, each council gives awards, which are also included below.

Member Development
Membership Development includes personal and professional development such as career readiness and networking, communication skills, diversity and inclusion, and personal values and leadership. Member Development awards include: Alumni Hall of Fame, Outstanding Service Event, Outstanding Philanthropy Event, Chapter Advisor of the Year, and Outstanding Member Development.
Alumni Hall of Fame
The Alumni Hall of Fame seeks to recognize alumni members of the fraternity and sorority community who exemplify life-long membership and have made outstanding contributions to their chapter, inter/national organization, and the community.
Our inductees this year were Michelle Poff, Alpha Omicron Pi, and Rachel Steckler, Alpha Delta Pi.

Member Wellness
Member wellness includes a holistic approach to personal wellness including traditional risk management areas, stress management, and building healthy relationships. The Member Wellness awards include the Garry Beach Fire/Life Safety Awards, Outstanding House Director, and Member Wellness.
Fire/Life Safety
Named for a former University of Kentucky Fire Marshal, this award is selected by the University of Kentucky Fire Marshal's Office to recognize chapters who excel in facility management, particularly in the area of fire safety.
Our fraternity winner was Alpha Gamma Rho and the sorority winner was Delta Delta Delta.
Outstanding House Director
The House Director of the Year award seeks to recognize the impact and contribution of a fraternity and sorority House Director on the chapter that they serve.
The 2015 Outstanding House Director is Martha Newton of Chi Omega.
Member Wellness
The Outstanding Member Wellness award seeks to recognize chapters who provide well-rounded and engaging education for members to improve their personal physical, emotional, and mental wellness as a part of a larger community of care.
The Outstanding Member Wellness award winner was Delta Delta Delta sorority.
