Would a sophomore with really good grades have trouble in fall recruitment just because she is s sophomore?

It you have good grades and are involved in another organization on campus, then that makes you stand out more. Age doesn't really have that much of an affect on recruitment until you're a junior or a senior. Just be aware that they look at social media and other involvement on campus.

It definitely makes it harder, but I know a handful of sophomores who got into top houses on campus. It's all about your personality, your grades won't carry you through. As long as they aren't terrible it just matters that they click with you.

No sorority will overlook you just because you're a sophomore. If you have good grades and a great personality you should be able to get where you want. Top houses even take juniors, so you really don't need to stress too much about it.
