sorority comments

There are no tiers at U.K. The tiers that people talk about have been the same since the 1980's and this is just the students marketing themselves.Each sorority here could use improvements as this is part of life. Don't bad talk anyone it just makes the individual look foolish. 800 girls can't be in one sorority. Be lucky that you are able to join one at all.

It helps if you are a legacy or have a sister in one already. Just be yourself and go in with an open mind. Even with good grades, being good looking and having activities will not prevent you from being cut. Girls can be really mean. Some cut based on looks and one girls may not like you. See which one you fit in better. For the most part all sororities at U.K. are good. good luck.

none of this is accurate please make your OWN open minded decision while going through formal recruitment. Any house would love to have you and you would be lucky to be in any house. All UK greeks are classy, fun, smart, and involved all these "rankings" are based on stereo types or individuals.

What makes a sorority good? It seems to me that all the sororities have good looking girls, smart girls and are involved in the community. So why do people say this sorority is better than that one? Just wondering

It is difficult to get into a sorority at U.K. unless you know someone or have a sister already in one.

Honestly, I don't sororities really care who is considered number 1,2,etc. I think everyone just wants to have fun, bond and not have a bad reputation. Most want to do good things and make improvements within their own sorority.
