I think like chi omega and delta gamma are tied and then kappa kappa gamma and delta zeta are tied, but a lot will depend on their pledge classes. I think kkg and dz and dg will all do really well.

For older pledge classes, I would say DG is better but the newer pledge classes of DZ are better. Theyre really similar though, decide for yourself during recruitment!

will you be considered if you have a 3.0 average from college and a 4.0 in high school

why are recommendations not important

i think with a 3.0 you will be considered at most sororities but it def won't be something that helps you get in.

recommendations aren't important because UK is such a huge school with a huge greek life. there will be over 1,000 girls going through recruitment with you. the sororities won't really care about recommendations because they will be able to choose who they want without them. however, they don't hurt you at all.

so if there are so many people I would think that recommendations would help weed people out

the ones who do spring rush are the ones who had girls drop. last year the only ones who didn't need to were adpi, tri delt, kkg, chi o, and dg i think.

they don't help weed people out, thats what the whole rush week is for. but they can help if you appear really well on paper (very involved, 4.0 gpa, etc.) then it could help you. don't worry too much, everyone ends up where they're supposed to be :)
