remember when you go through rush you never get your first choice anyway. have fun and get to know all the sororities. I got my third choice and I am glad. it can be a hurtful experience so don't take it personal. U.k. is a big college and next year we are getting another sorority on campus which will be nice. Alpha Pi is a new one give tthem a look.

Alpha Phi IS new on campus this year! They rushed a little later then everyone else, and got over 150 beautiful girls! They're all really down to earth and definitely someone to watch out for! I think they're on the same level as DG who are also some great girls! I wish them all the best of luck in the future!

Alpha Phi got girls that the other sororities didn't want initially.They had rush after the formal rush session was completed. Whatever, it gave girls a chance to be in a sorority that normally would not have been. A lot of girls dropped out of rush in the fall due to not wanting to be in the sorotity that chose them and from being cut from all of them. I wish them the best as all the sororities. Hey senior girls do a better job at getting to know your freshman. They are your future.

I was wondering what do sororities based their decisions on when it comes to being cut from joining one. I know that it is difficult to compete with 800 girls during rush especially when each sorority takes between 50 to 60 girls. It is highly competative. I know a girl who was very pretty, smart and fun and she got cut from several sororities. What gives?
