Adpi cuts so many girls because they have such a high return rate- which means that most girls want to come to come. They have a higher chance of girls accepting bids than lower sororities(they need to invite more girls back so they dont' have to cut as many).
As for DZ- I wouldn't necessarily say it is hard if you fit in with them! They are a mid-upper tier sorority so you'll need to be somewhat attractive, decent GPA, etc!

During recruitment whether a house is top tier or not, every sorority is looking for something different when it comes to a PNM. When it comes down to bid day you pick who you'd best fit with and the sorority will pick who they think will best fit. I think my gamma chi said it best "you will end up in the best house for you. If its not the house you wanted then you weren't meant to fit and probably didn't know what you wanted." So just don't go into recruitment with expectations. Your mind can change what you want at any point during the crazy stressful week

i'm not sure how completely true this is but i was told that adpi and dg fill their pledge classes first. and no, an adpi or dg didn't tell me this it was alpha phi.

Thats probably true for ADPi but I doubt it's true for DG.., theta and kappa had the two biggest fall pledge classes though.

Biggest fall pledge class doesn't say much because Panhellenic makes a quota.. ADPi could have had a fall class of 350 if they'd wanted but their Panhel quota was only like 58 because they always do so well in recruitment and they're already the largest sorority by like 20 members.

theta, adpi, dg, chio, and tri delt all get high return rates and get to cut a lot of girls and have less functions because so many girls want to go back to those 5 houses.

Below is true. Last year ADPi, then Theta, and then Tri Delta cut the most girls, making them the most difficult houses to get a bid from.
