To get into a Top 4 you need to have a great GPA, an open and engaging personality, and a good resume. Good luck! Top tiers have the most fun :)

When you fill out your recruitment application you will have to put your GPA from your previous college and all the sororites will have access to that information. Honestly to get in to a top four you need to be attractive, skinny, good grades, involved, and you need to have good conversation with the girls in those houses. But don't come in to rush only wanting one of those top four because all the sororites at UK are great and you may find your home in a house that isn't considered "top".

Sorry but no one would want to be a chi o after that comment. I wouldn't want to find my sisters by talking down upon other sororities. You should appreciate everyone in Greek life. PNM's, do not trust Greek ranks "rankings". The rankings aren't real, people are bias(will rank their sorority higher), people will say rude things and it's just ridiculous. Choose your sorority and home as if you see yourself being sisters with the girls you met. All the sororities at UK have their ups and downs, even mine, but every sisterhood is great and you'll hopefully love what you choose (:

are recommendation letters absolutely required to receive a bid? I've heard recruitment is "cut-throat" especially since i'l; be a sophomore transfer

Is it hard to get into a top tier sorority as a transfer?

STOP worrying about getting into a top tier sorority!!!! I promise you your life will not end if you don't. My sorority isn't considered "top" but Im in love with my sisters and can't imagine being anywhere else. Everyone has a place somewhere, if it just so happens that it is in a top tier that is great! Rec letters and connections only get you so far. Recs can get you invited back past open house but they won't help you much after that. Being a transfer won't hurt your chances. A girl in my gamma chi transferred here and got into a top tier- but remember don't worry about that!

Actually your life is over if you don't join a top tier :) we just have way more fun!! Plus the fraternities trip over themselves to pair with us.. What's better than that? Who doesn't wanna be part of the best? Good luck ladies!! Go chi o, theta, ADPi or tri delta!! Doesn't matter which, we all have the most fun. ;)

As a sophomore would it be hard for me to get a bid from ADPi or Theta? No offense to other sororities I just like them best, their girls seem so fun and are all so beautiful! I have a 3.7 GPA and pretty outgoing!

Can you get into ADPi if you have a 3.2??
