As a sophomore(and any grade really) it is important that you have decent grades, like at least a 3.0. A lot of the first cuts are made based off of grades. Other important qualities are just basic good qualities for any person to have: friendly, easy to get along with, etc. The recruitment process lasts five days including bid day. Open house round-go to all the houses talk for about 15-20 minutes. Philanthropy round- this is the first round of cuts. Sisterhood- see a skit, talk to the girls. Pref- serious day where you decide the house you want. If you want to know more indepth they will send you a recruitment guide.

Okay enough. Lets get real. PNMs read this website to see what sororities are the best ones. I happen to love owls and wearing red and yellow, and its safe to say I'm not into lions, dolphins or kites. But Chi O, ADPi, Tri Delt and Theta are the top 4 sororities in no particular order. You can leave negative comments all you want, but these are the sororities that fraternities love, other girls want to be, hold the best date parties & have the best philanthropy events. These are the hardest sororities to get a bid from, and the best. Lets not kid ourselves, ladies. Especially KD, AOPi, AGD and Phi Mu. Thanks!

"okgetreal" appears to be on the warpath... for no apparent reason. Congrats, you are a Chi O and very proud of it. Yes, it's pretty clear to everyone there is a distinct "top 4" at UK. However, there is no need to be so pointed in your comments. It's not Panhellenic, and it just makes you look bad.

It is great you are proud of your sorority but the comment you left was in bad taste. I would never leave a comment on a site like this clearly stating the sorority I am in and then go on to be do demeaning. You are representing Chi- O and the whole panhellenic community in a negative light.
