they already have land on campus

They already have purchased land on rose lane, near the sig nu house where they're living next year.

Phi Mu is renovating Sigma Nu's house this semester & over summer to live in for the next year, possibly 2 years depending on how long there house takes to be built. (They are on top of their game though from what I've heard) But rumor has it that if Alpha Phi doesn't make grades this semester then they won't get their house and FH might take Alpha Phi's plot and then Phi Mu will purchase the plot that FH is supposed to built on. But Phi Mu has already purchased land on rose street as well and apparently they have a lot of money invested in their house that is soon to be built. From what I've heard about Phi Mu nationally they are an awesome sorority and they have super nice houses.. I hear the one they will be building here is definitely going to have that southern touch to it...

I am so shocked at how well Phi Mu has done for there first year! I cannot wait to see how fall recruitment goes for them! Especially since they will already have a house and will be in the process of building their official house right next door! That is SO BADASS! They are incomparable to any other sorority on this campus I feel like! They did really good for their first year in Greek Sing, & they are really involved on campus! I also think it's great that they do so much with all of the greek organizations rather then just pairing with one! Idc about what I've heard about all these sororities. I'm rushing phi mu!!!!

i mean the sigma nu house has been empty for a while right?.. how come the other frats and sororities havnt been trying to purchase it

Why would they purchase it when they already have houses? Also Phi Mu isn't buying it, they are only renting it until Sig Nu comes back.

Its really hard to get a house that another greek system had been using, which is why it is impressive that phi mu got a hold of it. The chapter has to go through UK's housing, and normally they will convert chapter houses into dorm spaces like SAE.

how are they able to remodel the house then if sigma nu is eventually getting it back?
