sorority comments

if you have below a 3.0...you will get cut from a lot of them, the good ones, so if you are below that, don't go through rush because you will be disappointed. It happened to me and it sucked. I had a 2.8 hs gpa.

Rush will be starting in August so please keep the bashing off of here. U.K. is one of the hardest places to get into a sorority. They will be about 900 girls trying to get in somewhere with only 50 to 60 spots each. Keep an open mind about this process. Sorority life is great but not for everyone. All sororities are great at U.K. and they are not any bad ones. Some are a lot more active than others but that doesn't mean that they are any less than good. Be prepared to get your feelings hurt and this is a difficult process for everyone. What one sorority is looking for doesn't mean that they all are looking for that. You will know who parties and who are fake and who are real. This website should be used for ways of improving a sorority and not for bashing. Everyone could use improvement.

I feel that all the houses at UK have great qualities but there are still top houses just like every other university:
chi-o, pi phi, tri delt, theta, adpi are all good houses and they are the best on campus

do people really think they are reading facts from this website? no one who comments on here is in the sorority they say they are so there is no telling who is really saying the negative comments. as for the positive comments.. its sororities rating themselves. no one cares enough unless they are in one! this site should be deleted because it is misleading. i do not think there are any "bad" chapters at uk. they are all different and each have their pros&cons.

You can and should most definitely rush! GPA is NOT a deciding factor, there must have been other reasons for the person below getting cut. I know girls with a 2.0 and got into a good house. It depends on you!

GPA is the first thing people see when they look at your information. And, yes, it is a first impression for a lot of houses. Secondly, it is your looks......They should add the deciding factor of criminal record history because they do ask for your ACT score.......

honestly, the rudest bunch of girls are in the Theta's and Tri-Delts.......So not everyone fits this category. Thank goodness that there are other sororities to choose from because not everyone wants to be around bi#####. Sometimes, people just like plain, simple and fun people to hang out with.

To all the sororities, get your freshman and sophomores involved and include them in everything.....They are the future.

For the girls going through rush: Get tea cards with your pictures on it, don't have fake purses and get to know someone in a sorority, that will help you. Some of the sororities do dirty rush. Recommendations don't help so don't do it. Most of the sororotites already have people picked because of family members coming to school and friends they want in......

U.K. has something to offer everyone. Fake, real, drunks, sweet, simple, fun, active and outgoing. You get your pick......
