sorority comments

I appreciate the input. I have heard good things about most of the chapters at UK so I know she will be happy wherever she lands...there is always that little hope that they choose your own sorority though! You are right, any new sorority has to be picky or they get off to a rocky start with grades and bad pledge classes! Glad to hear they were smart about it.

I disagree with Pi Beta Phi unless you are an alcoholic and a Wh###. I also disagree with Alpha Phi and Delta Gamma. All of the others are subjective to anyone's opinion and remember, everyone has one.....

I'm neither a Pi Phi, A Phi, or a DG...I'm a Theta, but those are my opinions. I suggest if you're going through rush next year to keep your options open because all of our sororities are good and there is one for every kind of person.

Every sorority has something different to offer young women here at UK and I believe that it can be a good experience if you make the best out of it. To future PNMs don't judge a sorority based on what you read on this or any website because its usually completely biased and untrue. Go through recruitment with an open mind and you will end up where you are suppose to!

and just because you hear rumors of one person in a sorority doing something bad...it doesn't mean that it reflects on the sorority as a whole.

Personally if you don't have a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher, don't bother with rush as you will not get in. The sorority mess is just that, stay away from it.
