sorority life, dues, and thoughts

Im a senior in high school and will be attending UK in the fall of 2015, I have already signed up for recruitment but i just had a couple questions.
Is greek life really big?
How much time will I HONESTLY be devoting?
What is the avg cost for ALL FEES per semester?

Great choice, first of all.
As a senior at UK I can honestly say greek life is big here, you will spend at LEAST half of your time devoted to your sorority or its events and unless you're some what well off financially then don't even bother going through rush hoping to get a top tier house.
