by: WorriedI have bad highschool grades (3.0 and 24 act) but I'm a triple DG legacy with lots of clubs, varsity sports and volenteering. My older sisters and my mom are all highly active alum and go to dg events and hold meetings at our house regularly. Both of my sisters were on their chapters executive board and are still close friends with the former president, so my rec letters would be shining. Do I still have a chance at DG even with these grades?

With you being a pnm, I really suggest you get off greek rate and focus on finishing out your senior year. Don't worry about anything. Your grades are fine and there's really no point in worrying. You need to wait until rush and see how you feel. Many people (me included) were legacies and didn't even feel that connection with the sorority. You need to relax and give every chapter a chance. I promise that in the end everything works out perfectly :) you will be great!! Chin up and be confident.
