Rejection works both ways

To the newest PC class and those future classes.
Every house at UK has amazing girls and there is no way in a house of 200-300 people, that you will not find your people.
I found it very sad this Bid day seeing the girls who worked so hard to make your recruitment and Bid day something special for you, standing there waiting, holding a sign with your name and a bag of gifts for you for you to never run home. These girls also felt a sense of rejection by you and sadly you missed one of the best experiences in being part of Greek life.

Yes it is ok to have a favorite house and to be disappointed that you didn’t get what you wanted but you were chosen and wanted by the house that chose you. You should have at least respected those that saw something in you to run home and to give them and yourself a chance to see if the process worked for you.

I did not get my first choice or even one of my top 3 from what I thought I wanted but the process proved that it works and I am so happy in my house.

For the girls that read this in the future, please keep this in mind. If you really do not think you will join a chapter that is one of your final houses, then drop out before pref or do a suicide bid for the one you want.
