uk rush
by: TransferGirl!I'm going to be coming to UK this fall and I really want to rush. I will be a sophomore transfer student from out of state. I have a 3.7 college GPA and I am in the honor society at my college. I don't know anyone at UK. Do you think I could get a bid? Which sororities would be most likely to take girls in my situation? Thanks in advance :)

Hi! I think you definitely should go through recruitment! It's a great way to meet a lot of people fast and make UK seem smaller. Luckily for you if you are a sophomore coming in next fall, that won't affect you at all! You'll have the same advantage as any freshman coming in with a high GPA. You will be fine on GPA, it just really matters on your personality and where you fit in best! You shouldn't have a problem finding a great chapter for you. Good luck! :)

I didn't know a single person and I'm from out of state and didn't get dropped from any of the houses. This person doesn't know anything

this person is wrong. there are plenty of girls i know who did this and still received a bid. you'll be just fine, good luck with what you do and i hope you end up at where you really want to be :)
