confused

I am a high school senior and i visited campus recently. I am concerened and confused because i received to be what was a death stare from several greeks on campus i was wearing a normal pair of kahki shorts with a tucked in pink oxford and a nice watch are these clothes seen as a high school try hard? these are my normal clothes what should i wear to campus next year?
