gpa
by: curiousI'm rushing this fall!! I'm so excited! My high school GPA wasn't too great, it was a 3.2. Will girls with higher GPAs get picked over me?

I mean it's a bonus but it's not a requirement. If you look in the sorority recruitment handbook if you have it or go on UK's Greek Life site and access the handbook from there, you'll see that most sororities require a high school GPA at least a 3.0 (with Phi Mu at 2.75, and Theta at 3.2). Depending what sorority you want to be in you'll be fine. I can't speak for all of them but I know that ADPi is huge on grades.

My GPA was comparably bad coming into rush, but i still got into a good sorority. you may have to compensate with your personality and make sure you look put together, and keep the conversation going. but except for adpi (who is very serious about grades) you shouldnt be worried!

I'm not trying to be braggy or stuck-up, but I was a very good student in high school (Honor graduate) and I'm going to be in Honors at UK. On my college resume, I was in a few organizations and had some leadership roles, but in reality I didn't get very involved. Which is a big reason I want to go greek. I know to go into this with an open mind, but I want to be in a "good" sorority (although I know all are great) ....does anyone know what tier I might be in? (And apparently looks do matter a little... I'm blonde, very fair skin, 5'6'' but I'm not super skinny... dress size is 10-12. I would say I'm "decent," not super pretty.) Thanks ladies (and gentlemen)!

This is true. UKs rush is not really that competitive. You'll be fine.
