This is pretty much right. COB isn’t a bad thing though! Gives chapters some more diversity and a chance to scoop some great girls that may have missed out on formal recruitment!

Oh, come on. Many houses COB 2nd semester. They have Dec. graduates and people who quit during fall semester.
And women involved in cheerleading, danceteam, tworlers, etc...they can do formal recruitment, so COB is good for them as well. Many women join houses via COB for many reasons.

You’re full of it! You listed the chapters that you think OUGHT to do COB! Absolutely not true for all these....and anyway, who cares? Sometimes great girls get double cut or left behind—they deserve an opportunity.
