legacy/don't tell

Does Delta Gamma take a good amount of girls that weren't able to match with Chi Omega and/or Alpha Delta Pi? Also, how much does XO legacy help if you're not born in KY?

Idk about Chi O, but a lot of sororities at Kentucky are run by girls who don't come from Greek families. A lot don't understand the reasoning behind taking someone who already knows about their sorority, wants to be in it, and is related to a sister.

Being a legacy will help you some but tbh it's not a huge deal here, especially for Chi O and ADPi since that's where most girls want to go. I think DG takes a lot of girls whi can't get into Chi O or ADPi, but KD and DZ do also!

In general being a legacy is so different every chapter. Some chapters can’t release legacies unless there is a significant reason while some like Chi O only guarantee legacies one invite back because they have so many. So don’t use being a legacy to estimate or guarantee anything, just do your best and be yourself and don’t go into it wanting to be in any particular sorority because that may not be where you fit best! Good luck.

Despite their similarities, different chapters of each sorority have distinct personalities: For one kite, there are many types of kite strings. For one key, many doors. Greener grows the ivy vine with every new leaf.

Legacy status means less now than it did seventy years ago when there were not as many legacies. And legacy definition differs for each national group. Some include step-children, some omit granddaughters. Every group is a stable, viable and involved organization worthy of women who want to improve the world and themselves.
