I was just wondering if it is OK for a girl in a house to basically talk to you all about their bid day (and pref) and kinda lead you on and then drop you on preference? It just felt wrong. Maybe it is ok to do that. I was just wondering.

The girl you were talking to had probably very minimal control over whether you were dropped or not. She could have really wanted you in and liked you, sometimes that's just how it goes. After you go through rush on the other end, you will have a better idea of how things work and not taking it too personally.
