gpa and bids?
by: Wildcat 65I'm a sophomore at UK and have a 2.6 gpa. I was thinking about rushing a fraternity but don't know if I would actually get a bid because of m GPA. Any advice? Thanks.

as a former fraternity recruitment chair, I can say it may come up as a flag to some chapters, but as long as you are personable and have good conversations you should be okay at a majority of the chapters. Just make sure you work hard on your grades when pledging.

Thanks for the advice! I've been talking to three chapters and they have told me that I need anywhere from a 2.5-2.8 to be in good standing. I've scheduled my classes and have a plan to bring them up
