Sorority personalities?
by: RushingHey y’all! I’m rushing this fall and was wondering what the different personalities of the various sororities are Samford are? I just want to make sure I find the right fit, and am afraid virtual recruitment might result in me ending up somewhere that wasn’t what I wanted.

aoii: lots of different types of girls. most are very friendly. good calves.
adpi: either super nice or daddy’s money snobby. no in between
chi o: outdoorsy girls
phi mu: your bible study girls. super sweet
tri delt: again, more variety but most are either really kind or stuck up and only talk to other tri delts
zta: their only personality trait is being blonde and in a sorority. rare to see a non blonde zta who will talk to other girls in different sororities. some are nice tho, maybe like 10%

Zeta - fun, loud, blonde, partiers
ADPi - preppy, stereotypical southern sorority girls
Tri Delt - pretty diverse, fun, tend to have a lot of girls in school leadership
Chi O - granola, sweet but they tend to stick to themselves
Phi Mu - sweet Christian girls who either don’t wear makeup or wear too much
AOPi - very wide variety of girls but they seem to have a pretty genuine sisterhood

Remember that each sorority is made up of lots of girls, so wherever you end up, you will likely be able to find a group of friends that are like minded. My opinion below is based on the majority of girls that I know of. Good luck during recruitment!
ADPI: Overrated! They are friendly to your face, but not the most genuine.
ZTA: Fun loving party girls
PhiMu: Friendly, Authentic & FUN!!! All my guy friends love going to their events
ChiO: Super sweet and diverse with a lots of adventurous girls
TriDelt: Diverse group of girls & fun
AOII: Friendly

good luck during recruitment!! nothing to stress about for sure.
zeta: blonde, party girls with a few athletes randomly sprinkled in
chi o: granola girls who only talk to each other
Aoii: nice girls. kinda forget that they’re there bc they study a lot
phi mu: sweet girls who have great functions
adpi: very stereotypical southern girl. tend to be pretty and wealthy.
tridelta: a mix of girls. a good amount of party girls
