Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Samford University - SU 2.4 I wish someone would have told me what this sorority is truly like, after recruitment and the “act” is up it is completely different. Never have I been so disappointed in a group of so called Christian individuals and a Christian sisterhood. This group of people is only nice to who they choose to be, and will at no expense go out of their way to be there for other sisters who don’t fit into their particular clique. They put up a front on social media appearing to be classy and kind however behind closed doors they run their mouths about sisters, party the hardest, & are completely immature. Their is a few nice girls I have met from my time so far at Samford but there are more rude people then kind. There are some girls in this sorority who are the kind of people who are the drunkest at the party, but yet judge everyone and are jealous of their sisters. This group needs to be directed by their nationals or something and handled. They spread gossip and overall appear to represent something that is entirely inaccurate.

Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Samford University - SU 2.2 These group of girls are so cliquey. They get around bad and party all the time. I used to want to be a zeta, but after seeing these girls for a year, I would never want to be in that sisterhood. Everyone I know dropped and their retention rate is horrible because of all the drama!

Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Samford University - SU 2.9 I don’t want to generalize everyone in zeta because I have met a few genuine and sweet girls in this sorority, but I’ve had more negative experiences. A lot of the girls will only be friends with you for superficial reasons like what sorority your in or what you look like/ how well known you are on campus. There was a zeta I decided to sit next to during the first week of class, who immediately stood up from where she was sitting and moved to the back of the room all because she simply didn’t like me. We had never spoken to each other before, so I don’t know where it came from, but it definitely rubbed me the wrong way! If you want friends who care more about your character, than zeta may not be the chapter for you. This is just my personal experience.

Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Samford University - SU 2.9 ZTA does get a bad rep but it mostly comes with truth. Most of the girls enjoy partying Tuesday-Sunday. They tend to be judgmental of looks and size. Boys are a whole other story. If you go ZTA with a boyfriend I’d watch out. Every ZTA Ive met has a real side and a fake side. But their are a few genuine girls in their chapter. On the other hand they are very passionate about their philanthropy and always have cute events. Hands down if you’re looking for drama go ZTA it wont be hard to find.

Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority at Samford University - SU 4.7 They get hated on, but I think it’s because they’re more outgoing. They do party, but every chapter has those kinds of girls. It’s just noticed more in Zeta because they’re the outgoing and bubbly type of girls, so you tend to notice it more than you would from more introverted girls. Loved going to their functions, they always seem to have a good time. Their philanthropy events (Mr. Samford especially) always draw a big crowd and raise a lot of money. Their social media presence is great too.

When they switched members to talk to me the girl who came up and knelt down had a bøøb pop out of her dress infront of me. So classy! They dropped me after that round and now I’m INDY! Worst waste of time and effort in my college career.
