Seriously? Sigma at Winthrop is a joke.

They suck let's be honest

I've been at Winthrop for two years, so I have first hand had experiences with all the sororities and I have to say, Sigma is my favorite. I think they are really underrated. The girls are generally gorgeous and have friendly personalities. They are fun to hang out with and make you feel really welcome (even if you aren't in Greek life). Although Greek life isn't for me, if I had to rush I would join this group.

Here's the thing about Try Sigma--if you're just looking around campus, you wouldn't know we even have a Tri Sigma chapter until you go through recruitment. And here's the thing about Greek Rank--it's a bunch of self-ranking, and a bunch of people who either really love or really hate the chapter in question.

Hmm...wonder why Tri Sigma is the highest ranked sorority on here. PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY ARE POPULAR. Tri Sigma has really friendly relations with every Greek organization. Yes, they had a few girls that partied a little hard, but those girls are in EVERY sorority. It doesn't matter where you rush, you will meet partiers. Tri Sigma is a group of super nice and caring girls. They love their philanthropy and sisterhood. Awesome sorority! My friend rushed them and loves it.

I have to say out of all the sororities these girls have hands down the best personalities. They're super sweet, open minded, and friendly! I've seen really opposite reviews on here but anyone who is saying they are not popular clearly just don't like them because they are definitely the most popular sorority on campus socially. Other sororites may be more popular with their philanthropy and campus involvement, but Tri Sigma is by far the most socially well liked sorority.

Tri Sigma is a group of very diverse and fun loving girls! It's upsetting that a few girls can create a reputation for the whole sorority. Fortunately those main girls have graduated and their party reputation has already gotten a lot better. They have a strong sisterhood and they love meeting new people! Even if you don't join greek life, hang out with these girls!

Oh come on! These people saying Sigma isn't popular are obviously just jealous. Sigma is definitely at least the second most popular sorority at Winthrop. They have awesome mixers and social relations with all other fraternities and sororities. They have a really great philanthropy and despite what others are saying, they're really dedicated to it. I think they're a great one to rush if you're laid back.

Probably the least involved, least known chapter on campus. They have a reputation for partying pretty hard, but they seem to be growing out of that. But the fact remains that they are hardly involved on campus--both in their own philanthropy and seen out supporting other chapters. They tend to be very insular, and it really hurts their presence on campus, and their popularity around campus and among other chapters.

People say this is the party sorority, but it's not true. There is not one party sorority. Every sorority parties, and there members in each one that do more than others. Sigma is full of unique, interesting, and outgoing girls. They have a really cool philanthropy and all of the girls I have met are super awesome and easy to talk to!
