Salisbury University - SU Greek Life Reviews

Sadly greek life at SU is lacking. There are plenty of students who want a large greek community, but because of the people in charge, the choices are limited. Greek life is responsible for the nightlife at SU besides going to bars. If it was up to those in charge they would not allow this. Fun events used to be held for those in greek life, but they have taken them all away. The only way to draw more students into greek life is having less input from staff at SU so that the greek community can flourish on their own. Having that bond in brotherhood/ sisterhood is amazing and them finding ways to crush opportunities for students just doesn't seem fair!!!

SU greek life is a great way to meet so many new people. For the reason alone I say its worth it!

Sigma Pi and Sig Ep party hard and I enjoy my time with those guys. Sig tal has a lil bit too much feminine music at their party's.

Greek life at Salisbury is slowly declining because the school refuses to support and teach them. It's unfortunate that the chapters at SU have regressed due to bad leadership. Salisbury is also not accepting expansion of Fraternity and Sorority life which is disappointing.

Greek Life at SU is starting to fade. The new Greek Life adviser who replaced the old one is horrible and very PC towards everything. There are no Greek held events as a whole anymore. There used to be events such as Greek Olympics and Jimmy Johns sub eating contests but those don't happen anymore. Each fraternity and sorority holds their own socials, formals, and philanthropy events but this is really the only interaction between Greeks anymore. There have never been any houses and probably never will be as the city prevented SAE from having the Scarborough building long ago. Sad that Greek life has become the way it is here.

Greek life is great. It opens up so many opportunities for you now and in the future. It gives you an amazing support system. I always hated on greek life until I joined it and I couldn't have made a better decision.
