by: FreshmeatHow many 'active' members does each Fraternity and Sorority have at CSUS and why do some have way more than others? Does that make them any better or worse than one's who have much lesser members?

It all depends how you view them and their members, Pike has almost 100 guys while Sigma Chi has about 60 I believe and a lot consider Sigma Chi to be top house but many others believe Pike is top house for their member numbers. Also to answer your first question Kappa Sig, SigEp and Delta Chi have around 45-60, PiKapp had 30 but they had an academic problems with members and Phi Kappa Tau & SAE have around 20. All Sororities except Chi Delta have around 90

Fraternity
Pike has the most members (around 100)
Sigma Chi has around 60
Kappa Sig has around 40
Sig Ep has around 50
Pi Kappa Phi has around 30 (brand new to campus)
Phi Kappa Tau has around 15 (brand new to campus)
SAE has around 20
Sorority
All the sororities have a house total of 103.
The only chapter that didn't have to add more members this spring to meet house total was Gamma Phi Beta.
Chi Delta is the only one that does not have to follow the Panhellenic rules so they have around 30.
