sophomore rushing
by: YaokI'm a freshmen but i want to wait until next year to rush. I want to do it right away in the fall but I know less people participate. Should I suck it up and wait until the spring or do it in the fall?

I would advise you to just rush in the Spring, you get to know all of the sororities that way and have a better chance of getting a bid from one of them.
In the Fall not all sororities take a pledge class and if they do the pledge classes are usually really small, most of them that do participate in informal recruitment usually take less than 10 girls, no sorority ever takes more than that.
If you want to rush a sorority with a reputation than I'd advise you to go through formal recruitment in the spring.

Yup. If you don't get a bid in informal, you can always do formal where everyone is encouraged to do if you want to join a sorority.

Can one go through informal and then formal if they don't get in?
