How much does GPA matter for rushing

My gpa fell pretty low due to, now resolved, personal issues. My GPA is still above the required 2.5 requirement but it's definitely not a 4.0. How big of an issue will this be when it comes to rushing? Will I be dropped solely because of a low GPA? (disclaimer before I get scolded for putting rushing before my grades: I know rushing and being in a sorority is a big commitment, I am still committed to my academics I wouldn't be rushing if I wasn't sure I could better handle my work load next semester.)
