Is sorority rush at RU competitive/toxic?
by: santanaI'm thinking about going through formal recruitment. I've seen in some colleges in the south that recruitment is really expensive and that most girls don't even get a bid, as well as that a lot of the sororities are super toxic. Is it like that at RU? What's RU's Greek life and recruitment actually like?

In all honesty as a member of Greek life I can say if you approach it correctly, it’s not toxic. Don’t pay attention to the superficial stuff, focus on the conversations you have each round and please don’t pay attention to “rankings” or “reviews” on here bc it’s a lot of ppl tearing other orgs down for no reason.

even though I only got in through zoom, I can honestly say the process was overall very good and friendly. some girls from any sorority really may not want to be talking to you and think you are a certain way and act like it, those convos are painful. but 9/10 felt super welcomed and enjoyed it
