Sorority rush is biased here
by: RealifeadviceFrats are great here for the most part if you can carry a conversation you will get a bid or at least find the right one for u where u fit in etc. Can’t say the same about the sorority recruitment process because it’s biased. Whether or not a girl receives a bid by a chapter she loves depends on many unfair factors such as if a one sided rumor goes around or if one girl in the house has a problem with her or even a potential new member has a bad thing to say. The chapters talk and can ruin the experience for a pnm. Take it from me I was in one on ec and I know how the process goes. It sucks but I graduated now and I wanna raise awareness. If you don’t get a bid don’t let it effect you to his all means nothing after college.

I just want to make it clear that I’m not hating on any sororities because at a certain time in my life my sorority was the most important thing to me. I just wish the process was more fair and not based off of rumors and gossip that isn’t known for a fact. Hopefully in the future this can be fixed because it’s a problem with the Panhellenic community across the entire country not just at Rutgers. Every year many girls are disappointed when they get dropped or don’t receive a bid for no explanation.
