Honest question

by: Zmzmzmz

Is joining a frat worth it if you already have close friends and get girls?

Really depends on what you look for in college. Without Greek life or club sports, it’s kinda hard for a regular guy to get into house parties. But if you’re old enough, you could just go to the bars with your friends. Greek life isn’t like what it is at southern schools where it completely dominates school culture. You can still have fun at rutgers without being part of greek life.

Just to add to this, it’s also better to rush when you’re a freshman or sophomore so you can experience more years of Greek life and pledging is gonna be easier

yes, because you won’t get the connections and the extra opportunities without it. And whatever you have now, joining a frat can enhance it.

Yeah it really depends on the person though tbh. If youre the more mature type and focused primarily on work then maybe not. But tbh its a safe bet that you will be happy you did. Imo frat life is the #1 option in college

Better to expand your circle as much as possible. Then choose what to do with your time
