how is dke?
by: benI am a Sophomore from a community college and am thinking about rushing this 2014 Spring Semester. Any suggestions at all? I am thinking of DKE because they have a nice new house and I heard the brothers are pretty chill and tough. I also here they throw some pretty good parties, but I am not really into partying hardcore but want a mixture of grades/academics and social life. I here there Rushing process/selection is rough also b.c. so many people are trying to join.

I know a few brothers at ∆KE and have been around their house a bit (I rushed last semester) and they seem to be a healthy mix of everything. If all you want to do is party, DKE isn't for you. If all you want to do is study, DKE isn't for you. If all you want to do is raise money, DKE isn't for you. But if you're more interested in finding a fraternity that is well balanced between all 3, DKE is a great place for you to help grow. I'm working on improving my GPA so hopefully I can rush next semester. They've got a really strong sense of brotherhood where everyone knows and enjoys one another.
