it always amazes me when I read things like this. Depending on your point of view, you could flip this and say some of those "top tiered" frats are full of douche, stereo typical "frat guys", most don't even know all of the brothers. It's a joke.

Some of the "mid and lower tiered" are chill guys who chose to be in these frats because they like the vibe.

For someone to even rank frats like this is laughable. This is why greek life is dying at Rutgers.

Top 10 are all valid to rush. They'll provide lit parties with solid connections. Below that, the quality of life goes downhill. It really isn't worth pledging and dedicating a ton of your time/money. You can still rush, but at your own risk. Truth is you are the sum of who you surround yourself with.

That’s not necessarily true. Most of the top 10 have no brotherhood and a lot of brothers don’t even know each other. The ones below might not have parties that are as good, but the connections you can make depend also on how big it is nationally. The ones that are not worth rushing are the super bottom ones like APD or PMD and the overhyped self ranking crap ones like Pi kapp and Sae.

Greek rank is full of lower tier guys always hyping lower tier groups. Why do top tier frats have to be douchey? Why do top tier guys not know their brothers? Brothers and friends the same in most orgs. Top tier frats have just as good of friends and brotherhood as anyone else. You hate them cause you ain’t them

yuh-the top ten have brothers who don't even really know each other, so not sure how solid they are, and not everyone thinks their parties are lit. That's why it's important to not go by this, and go by real life and who you vibe with. You might think y'all super chill, but some think douche or just not my vibe... so... yeah.. truth is you are who you surround yourself with... and that's why a lot of kids don't choose a top ten frat.

Yes, if partying/relations are not a priority then choose the frat you vibe with. The higher the tier, the more relations/exclusivity. Upper tiers are invite only, not even 20:1 ratio will get you in. Bottom tiers are usually open with 2:1 ratio + money. Yes it sounds douchey- I don't like it, but it's what goes. If parties are a big reason for going greek then rush upper tiers. Top 10 is still a huge pool to find who you vibe with. That being said, plenty of my friends are in bottom tiers. There's a lot of cool people in bottom tiers. There's also douches in top tiers. You can still choose your friends. Surround yourself with people who'll lift you up regardless of the frat.

facts. Some people for example hate Chi Phi parties-- all depends on your vibe. I am in between since open parties are starting to get annoying and the odds of you really getting to know chicks as friends or more after that party is slim. Mixers you can atleast know girls better.
