geeds are only looked down upon in the college social scene. some gdis are studs but the majority lack the social skill to interact, pull, or build a college network. There’s nothing wrong with focusing on urself tho all to them.
And yes irrelevant frats are more “beta” than geeds. So at least join a mid tier for those gdis interested.

true, but the number of legitimate studs in Greek life is probably around 100, w most in the upper tiers. whereas there are probably a higher number of studs in club sports, D1 athletes, and reguar geed population -- just at a lower percentage than greek life

I don’t think it’s a matter of studs or not studs it’s just a different way of life. With the frats I think It’s basically a shame thing where frat guys think you should be ashamed for not being involved in greek life. Or maybe not shame but they’ll just think you’re kind of shot to put it differently. Feel like college is a socially organized Version of high school. In general when you don’t go along with the masses or majority you will tend to be looked at in a negative light

What I mean by majority is that its generally accepted at big schools like ru, psu, etc that being in a frat is the coolest thing to be, even among gdis I think. Being in a frat is pretty much what is coveted at college imo, and most of the social events, parties, etc revolve around greeklife. Again this is what i see, my honest opinion...

Yea you are right that is how it is. It’s certainly seen as better than being independent. That’s just the culture I guess.
