A lot of the smaller chapters here are of no importance to their nationals, besides the ones with less strict rules such as AKL. The chapters I’d say are most important here are half of the top 8, as their alumni support, history, and backing form nationals ensure their importance.

The chapters that are 100+ years old are the most valuable to the National organization. They have the tradition, alumni and money to keep them significant. That is why Dean A hates them the most. They have the power to push back against her authoritarian actions.
The recent chapters will easily fold under pressure. These groups are nothing more than dues producers for the National.
