Just to stop any rumors, the shooting did not occur at any fraternity party, no Rutgers students were involved.

It absolutely did. The news reports are wrong.

It was a Rutgers party. The shooters were not affiliated with Rutgers, but they became upset about a misunderstanding regarding the party and started shooting. What’s not clear is if the victims were students, although it is a mostly off campus student area.
