Question about getting bids
by: 1010Is it true that you really only get into a top tier frat if you know someone already in it before rush? I heard there's even certain passwords they make up that if a rush knows it he gets a bid automatically

No you don't need to know anyone before rush that's a fallacy. It is usually helpful to know someone going in though. I've heard of passwords but I wouldn't worry too much about that. If anything its out of your control if you dont know it. Usually you will get the bid if they really like you.

Gunna be straight up with you bro you should try to find out the passwords, its not the end all be all but its pretty important, I can tell you from personal experience in a top tier frat ive actually seen some studs get turned down for not knowing the password, so its def important but obviously you still have a shot without it

Kid above me probably commutes he knows nothing. What the frats do is leave the clues of the passwords around campus and you just have to be on the lookout for them and eventually the clues will lead you to them

it's true, if you want to get into theta chi you gotta keep an eye out for hidden engineering equations, they scatter them all over club alex right before rush

I’m in a top tier frat and I can confirm that this 100% true. Imagine National Treasure with Nicholas Cage but for getting bids.

How would we find out the passwords? And which frats ask for them? This makes it nearly impossible without knowing anyone beforehand.
