rushing
by: patrickstarI am a rising junior and this is my second year here after I transferred in as a sophomore this past fall. I didn't really have an interest in greek life when I first came and did poorly so my parents did not let me rush this past semester. That being said, is it too late to rush as a junior? I feel like I am really missing out but also feel as if already being a junior would be negatively viewed. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

If you really want to do it then go for it. The biggest hesitation i’d say is you have to really think about pledging as a junior. You’re gonna have a lot of other concerns as a junior so you have to think about whether you really want to be a pledge for a semester. I’m not trying to discourage you, I know plenty of juniors who pledged and had absolutely no issue or regrets, but it’s just something you need to consider.
