sororities?

by: Rutgers19

Since I've entered my freshman year at Rutgers, last fall semester, I can't shake the idea of Greek Life out of my mind. Right now I'm in Douglass and at least two organizations, but I really don't fit the sorority "stereotype": I don't party, drink and I'm not committed to living in a house but I am willing to meet new sisters/people and would love to partake in community. If I were to join, I would probably go along with the 10 (?) Panhellenic sororities. I guess the biggest problem I want to highlight as well is the dues to pay each semester, holy cow… but is joining really worth it or should I just stay independent?

Thanks in advance :)

check out the panhell website! it has a summary of all the chapters and info about them. then google or look up the chapters on facebook and see what they are all about!and dont be afraid to contact chapter officers and ask questions

I will definitely ask questions and I guess the Involvement Fair will be useful too
