what are the real sorority rankings here?

Chi omega/ Alpha Phi
Pi phi
Zeta
Kappa delta
Sigma Kappa??
Theta Phi

Rankings aren't too big at UD
Chi O and A phi are very into themselves and have a lot of spirit.
Pi phi and zeta are more laid back and also fun
KD Is still new
Theta Phi is very lowkey and practically non existent

A Phi / Pi Phi / Chi O are the relevant ones. Find which you fit in best and they're interchangeable.

A Phis - typical "hot" girls, very aesthetically good looking as a group, fun but known to be sloppy and cliquey
Chi O - typical very peppy sorority girls, pretty and fun socials
Pi Phi - laidback version of Chi O, fun not but super "sorority" clapping type of girls, well-rounded/liked overall

Greek life is not a big deal by any means and if you're in a sorority and try to over hype Greek Life here people will laugh at you. We are not a big Greek life school, so the people that actually care that much and try to make it into something bigger than it is are wasting their time.

Each sorority has their own vibe and it's very common for a friend group of girls to end up in all different sororities. I think there is a place for everyone especially with the addition of sigma kappa

Yes Pi phi did very well this year and I know a lot of girls that preffed them over aphi, A Lot so I would say its more like Chi O and then Pi Phi and then Aphi. Most people I know went Chio Pi Phi or Pi Phi Chi O

top: probably aphi or chi o (if you want a 'typical' sorority tbh)
middle: pi phi, zeta
bottom: kd and theta
& sig kap is new, so give it a year or two to see where they end up/what their rep becomes!

Tiers aren't a huge thing at Dayton since there's so few sororities. But if you wanted them in levels (can be interchangeable within levels with differing opinions):

Top: Aphi, Chi O, Pi Phi(maybe top of middle)
Middle: Zeta, KD, SK
Bottom: Theta phi

But honestly every sorority is great, for some reason some have better longstanding reputations. I can't really think of anything but positive things to say about all of them. The top three are the most selective and cut the most girls during recruitment while Middle/Bottom aren't as competitive. SK is newest to campus but will probably be middle/stay middle since the top sororities have been around for so long.
