University of Dayton - UD Greek Life Reviews

Greek life has a small presence but can still have the time of your life without joining any Greek organization. The university has robbed me for more and more money every year, for being a private catholic school at the administrative level is beyond corrupt all leading back to Eric Spina, sad time watch a school I loved dearly fall apart

(This is for the girls wondering if they should join greek life at UD) Overall, UD is not the school for greek life. If you are looking for a real sorority experience go to a southern school. UD is fun the way it is and people in greek life try to make it a bigger deal than it is. YOU DONT NEED A SORORITY TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AT UD!!! Boys in frats will still like you even if you aren't associated with a sorority.

Do not come to Dayton if you want to be in a sorority. There are too many girls rushing and not enough space, resulting in everyone I know either dropping out or being left unhappy with the choices they have left. The very few girls who do get asked back are either a legacy or of a different race to increase diversity. The girls in the sororities are fake. They will act like they’re so interested in you while they know in their head that they will just end up dropping you. If you’re considering coming to Dayton and you want to rush, do not come. If I had known that this is how Rush would be, I would not have come to this school. I am just writing based off of what I have witnessed and experienced. I am in no way being mean, just honest.

Greek life is bigger than most people think here. The sororities are all fun and most of the fraternities are growing. There are some major housing issues with the university buying up property, but all-in-all its not bad here. Greek life is thriving.
