Kappa- Hot blonde house with no personality but very visible on campus
Pi Phi- "Hippie" house that is decently hot, smoke a lot of weed, but have a small campus presence overall.
Theta- "Mixed" house that has some cute fun party girls, and some really twampy girls.
Chi O- "Trouble Maker" house that's decently hot but has a terrible campus rep.
Tridelt- "Crazy" house that has a handfull of hot girls and a lot of average girls but party harder than anyone else
KD- "Twampy" house full of shallow try-hards. Care WAY too much about their image.
DG- "Preppy" house full of sweet girls who weren't cute or mean enough for kappa, with a small but vocal group of stoners
AXO- "Bro" house with a group of cute but mostly average looking girls. Laid back and party hard without being insane about it.
GPhi- "Up-and-comming" house. Cute-ish nice girls who just don't have the rep. Honestly indisinguishable from DG in my opinion.
Phi Mu- Nice girls who couldn't get in anywhere else.

agree overall, but i would say

- kd and theta are equally twampy (both have super high gpas and care way too much about being 'classy'). older thetas>> newer kds >>> older kds = newer thetas in terms of looks.

- gamma phi is just as overweight and average looking to unattractive as phi mu, they just go out more. dg has a much larger number of cute girls, but that still isn't saying much.

gamma phi has definetly gotten a lot cuter. they're doing homecoming with a solid fraternity (KA - the same ones who have done it with KD and DG in recent years) and have some real cuties in last falls pledge class. up and coming for sure.

oh, and KA is not a "solid" frat either. which makes sense, because sororitys generally pair with those close to their caliber.

pretty sure ka and kd have not done homecoming together in recent years... ka has been with gamma phi, dg, axo, and then gamma phi again for next year. gphi isn't even getting better as fast as axo is.

kappa/ pi phi/ chi o/ theta
- most are cute to hot in looks, lots party, frats want to mix with them
tridelt/kd
- most are cute with a couple of hot girls thrown in. tridelt is the last choice for the good frats, kd is the first choice for the middle tiers/'backup' for the top
dg/axo
- cute to average, mix almost exclusively with mid tier frats
gamma phi/phi mu

KA was with DG, AXO, and GPB. But I wouldn't say they're a bad frat, they're fairly "solid". I would say any frat with a unit/getting a new house is "solid"

I would say AXO is getting better at an astronomical rate (getting much cuter, having better PR, being more visible on campus, changing their rep really quickly) and they've really carved out their niche on campus.

and Gamma Phi...
is trying really hard to get themselves to a DG-like rating, and might get there within a few years if they are a wee bit more selective looks wise. They're definitely going out more often.

I do have to say that DG has been remarkably quiet all year. They got the outstanding chapter award but I often forget they exist. They're never really wearing letters (the lilly print yes, the zip ups sometimes), and they don't really go out. The one's who do keep their afiliation hush hush.

If you are seriously rushing, do not listen to any of the negative comments. At W&M the sororities are ranked as follows:
chi o, kkg, pi phi, tri delt, theta, kd, dg, axo, gamma phi, phi mu.
All the sororities are great. It just depends on what you are looking for and where you fit. Everyone fits in somewhere that they love!
