i remember looking at this site before recruitment, and i'm so glad that i didn't let what it said influence my decision. now that i'm involved in greek life, i know how much of the crap written on here is totally untrue and just made up by girls in other sororities to try to sway pnms away from rival sororities or sororities they're jealous of. it's pathetic, but almost kind of funny now that i know all of it's a lie.

Unbiased (accurate) list of sororities in order from best to worst:
Chi Omega, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Phi.
Tri Delt, Kappa Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta.
Delta Gamma, Alpha Chi Omega.
Gamma Phi, Phi Mu.
Also if you really want to get a good sense of which sororities are better than the others just ask the fraternities and they will tell you their honest, unbiased opinions. That is what I did when I rushed, and I got the same answer everywhere I went (Top tier: CHI O and KAPPA).
Rush is really a lot of fun, and everyone should enjoy it! Go Greek!
#206 by: Dear PNMs,
this website is entirely biased. Wait until rush to form your own opinion, and you'll find a group of sisters for the rest of your life. Choosing your sorority is like choosing a good pair of shoes- theres many different styles, but the way to find the best pair for you is to try them all on. :)

Each sorority at WM is unique and can offer the PNM's something special; being part of a sorority means having a sisterhood to belong to. Just because a house is considered 'top tier' doesn't mean that you will be happy there, the whole rush process is about finding which house you fit into. Keeping an open mind during rush week is extremely important; a house you thought you might love prior to rush week might end up being last on your list by the end of the open house days and vice versa, you might end up absolutely loving a house you had never considered. Trust your own judgement of whether or not you would fit in at a specific house.
