I am in a sorority (it is irrelevant which one) and just wanted to say that none of us should belittle ourselves to writing ranks. It hurts all of our chapters and things were so much better without it. We should all be there for each other and not in competition because we are all in greek life.

Do most girls going through recruitment recieve a bid to a sorority? Or is it really competitive?

Please please please ignore this site. All it is a handful of girls tearing down other sororities to make their own look better. That is not at all what the Greek system at William and Mary is about and frankly nobody should want to join a group of people that feels better after insulting their peers. When going through recruitment next year please keep an open mind. When I went through it this past year I actually realized that what these comments said about each house were totally false and had I paid attention to them I would not have been nearly as happy as I am now. Form your own opinions based on the girls you actually meet as opposed to bashing comments on a website.

Yes. If you maximize your options you WILL get a bid. You'll learn about it when you rush. It is not a competitive process though it is long.

But if you're a PNM: Please Please Please get off this site. It's just not a good way to get information. Its full of rumors and lies rather than truthful information. Go through rush blind, you'll be MUCH happier that way.

what the heck happened to the rankings in the last few hours? the rankings are almost the exact opposite...! haha

Tonight is proof that these websites are totally useless in helping you make the best decision. Yesterday, the rankings were completely different (but really...!). Just a few ratings totally changed what they look like, showing how arbitrary this is. Go off of your own feelings when you get inside the houses and meet the women. Greek life at WM is honestly amazing, and if you maximize your options, you are sure to get a bid and have a wonderful college experience <3
