sorority comments

Well... It's easier when you're a freshman. If there are girls in the sorority to vouch for you you will be okay, but on the whole, if they can take one more girl and they're between a freshman and a sophomore, they'll take the freshman 90% of the time.

If this is about rushing a sorority with spring rush vs. rushing in the fall, try going to a rush event now, you may love the girls and join right away rather than waiting.

from personal experience, rushing as a sophomore is definitely more difficult. Even if you know a girl or two in each house, that's not always going to help you - you have to really make yourself stand out. Most sophomores who rush get cut from the top houses right away, and end up in their second or third choices.

don't listen to the ppl below, going through recruitment as a sophomore is totally fine. I know many who got their fav. houses so seriously stop worrying about it
