i think we can all safely assume by now that nobody besides phi mu is doing spring rush? there hasn't been any word about any other houses doing it...

GPB is doing some under the table, if you're interested tell a sister you are, but they're trying to keep it quiet (they think it will harm their rep if people know they're doing spring bids)

AXO is (rumor has it) doing an invite-only event for a few COBs (I live with one and she just put it on her schedule so I assume so). Once again, if you're interested tell a sister and try to get an invite.

Theta is possibly pulling a Gamma Phi and doing some very hush hush. Ask a sister if you're interested.

Phi Mu is doing open rush. Ask a sister when it's happening.

All of our chapters are filled with fantastic women so if you're interested in joining a sorority before the fall, this is a good time to do it.

just talked with recruitment rep of theta, and they're not doing spring rush IN ANY WAY. idk where that rumor started about them not filling quota with this pledge class, because their numbers are fine.

Don't use this site. Really. Just don't. Make your own opinions. No sorority is any better than any other sorority. This is full of rumors and harshness and you're only going to come away more confused. Seriously. Just go through recruitment in the fall, and choose where you fit.

Gamma Phi Beta- Innocent
Kappa Alpha Theta- Split
Kappa Delta- Try too hard
Kappa Kappa Gamma- Pretty
Phi Mu- Strange
Pi Beta Phi- Stoners

Really girls, you'll find your home. I know going into rush in the fall I had the reputations ABSOLUTELY wrong and I ended up trying to cut the house I'm in now on the very first night. The house ended up being my first choice for the last 2 nights of recruitment once I realized their rep was BS and is my home now and I could not love it more. Really, don't pay attention to these rankings. It doesn't matter.
Go greek! Find you home! But choose it for yourself.

I'd highly suggest that girls check out those sororities if they're interested in spring rushing (especially since it does get harder to do well in fall rush as you get older).

A Chi O and Gamma Phi Beta are both excellent sororities with good reputations, strong sisterhood, and no hazing.

Phi Mu is a group of lovely women who adore their sisters and have very strong friendships.

It's not that difficult to rush as a fall sophomore, is it?

Nope, rushing as a sophomore is totally fine. I think almost 40% of the girls who rushed this past fall were sophomores. It's only an issue once you're a junior, because then you don't count towards quota, which is super important for sororities.
