Top tier ranks but on other qualities

Having a goal is great when going into rush, but keep an open mind out to other sororities. Those are the “top sororities” but there are 7 other great sororities out there that you might find you place at more. I’ve seen so many people burn out during the rush process because they didn’t get asked back to their top sorority and just never gave any other a choice. There are good things and bad things about any sorority and I’ve defiantly have heard a lot of bad things about those sororities

at least in my experience, I DID NOT end up in the sorority that I thought I would going into rush. it's definitely good to know what you want, and I know people who took a bid they weren't sure about and ended up not being super happy. but greek at w&m is also a lot about what you make it. every srat has something different to offer. as far as being like "it" girls, these three are generally considered that. but I also know plenty of people in other sororities who would fit into any of these categories.

i also think you're right that rush classes have really changed. tri delt in past years has been like a cult but this and last year's PCs aren't quite as close. kappa is similar and I have actually heard that some of the older PCs are really HORRIBLE to younger ones. theta's new PC is so cliquey within themselves. chi o's past PCs have been a super mixed bag and we all know there was a ton of drama this year but it seems like the newest PC is a super close. KD took a bunch of people who are fun and go out which (I think) hasn't been their rep in the past. those are just the ones I'm familiar with so take my opinions lightly ig

If you go in with the mindset of the 'top three,' chances are you wont end up there unless you rush as a sophomore. Sororities can smell try-hards

accurate except theta is way more philanthropic than other two combined. Ive never heard of or heard anyone talking aboutt chi o or kappas philanthropy events. walk around campus for 15 mins youll see at least 5 theta dodgeball t shirts bc everyone goes to thetas events.
