Will Zoom Rush be worth it?

Is anyone else nervous they won't be able to get a feel for all the houses? I'm not sure what frats are doing, but it seems like Zoom recruitment is going to be meeting a handful of girls on one-on-one zoom calls. I'm worried I won't without seeing the majority of the girls, the house, and figuring out their "energy" in person. I'm also worried it will be awkward and feel way less special than finding a new "home" in person.
Current greek lie members - should I (and other people) wait until our sophomore year? I don't want to make the wrong choice. Thoughts?

Yeah it's going to be a tough year for everyone on both sides of recruitment. You could always try it out and see how you feel (there's usually only a fee for the second half of the process).
All the srats at W&M are awesome and it's a great way to make new friends! I couldn't imagine college without joining my srat - it hasn't been completely perfect but I've made so many great friends and memories with people in both my srat and from a ton of other greek orgs. See how it goes and if you're not feeling it, go through the process next year (in person hopefully).

Definitely go through the process because you can stop before pref night if you’re not feeling it. But with that said, I firmly believe every house at W&M is amazing and gives an opportunity to meet fun and intelligent women. I actually regretted going with a house just bc I thought it was higher ranked so pleaseeeee follow your heart. I still found great friends in the house I chose but don’t be like me- go with your gut
