once again, it’s all about chi o, kappa, theta.

Can we get a rule change to help the smaller, new houses get a break. Seems these three just take what they want and In the end far too many awesome girls drop out, thinking if they can’t be one of these, they won’t be Greek at all.

Don’t think this is necessarily true this year... heard that Chi O in particular, REALLY STRUGGLED this rush season.

I think it’s a little unfair to say that larger chapters should take less girls. Yea to chapters like Phi Mu or AXO which had noticeably smaller bid classes, that might be a little unfair, but I also think there’s something to be said about letting girls go where they want to go. We got to find a balance between helping small chapters grow and letting people be happy with where they go. If someone goes to a place they don’t like, they’ll drop. Maybe having a smaller class less likely to drop is better than a big class with lots of drops.

AXO made quota with cute girls this year, so don’t lump them in with Phi Mu.

And I can second that I heard XO was struggling a bit. Some chapters seem to be coasting on reputation a bit too much maybe?

If you look at the numbers, theta and kappa had the two highest numbers of pnms choose to return to their houses for pref night. The way the computer system works it tries to make it possible for the smaller chapters to reach quota and get awesome girls back. I don’t know why we are bashing pledge classes already...everyone got wonderful pnms this year
