a bunch of freshman and sophomore pikas (so dphis have told me) re-rushed as dphis because apparently they hadn't been initiated yet. Seemed really sketchy to me as per ifc rules and whatnot, and evidently the older dphis seemed really opposed to letting pikas, with all their negative baggage, into their frat. But nevertheless bids were given out valentine's weekend (romantic) and a group are being initiated to dphi. Mostly due to younger dudes' insistence.

Pika did not merge with Dphi. A few underclassmen who had planned on joining pika but never officially joined chose to rush dphi and received bids. We never initiated them so they never actually joined our organization. As an upperclassman, I am not joining dphi and neither are any other initiated pikas.
